Who we are
Humanity Media CIC is a creative social-impact organisation dedicated to elevating unheard voices through film, poetry, digital storytelling, and community-led arts. We work with hard-to-reach and underrepresented communities, empowering people to share their lived experiences with confidence and dignity.
Our work spans a wide creative spectrum. We collaborate with The Live Feed to produce powerful social-impact films and host film festivals that showcase real experiences from diverse communities. We curate art exhibitions, poetry nights, and multimedia showcases that celebrate resilience, identity, culture, and community expression.
We also support emerging authors and creatives by helping them publish books, develop their storytelling voice, and access platforms where their work can shine.
Beyond the arts, Humanity Media CIC provides high-quality digital education programmes, including AI literacy, social media education, filmmaking, and creative skills training for SMEs, schools, charities, CICs, and underprivileged communities across the West Midlands and beyond.
We exist to build bridges, between stories and audiences, between communities and creativity, and between individuals and opportunity.
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower individuals and communities through creativity, education, and storytelling.
We aim to provide accessible creative opportunities for people who rarely have the chance to express themselves, especially those from marginalised groups. Through film festivals, exhibitions, digital media, creative writing, and community workshops, we create platforms that honour lived experiences, challenge harmful narratives, and inspire social change.
We are committed to supporting young people, migrants, LGBTQ+ individuals, survivors, and those facing economic or social barriers. By offering high-quality educational programmes, including digital skills, AI awareness, and media literacy, we help people gain confidence, improve employability, and find healthier creative outlets for expression.
